This simple half-up braid style is perfect because it’s really easy to recreate and only takes a few minutes. Not only that, it also looks great with an unkempt, wavy hair texture.

If your hair is naturally quite straight, you’ll need to create some tousled waves before you start braiding. The good news is that Advanced Hairstyle by L’Oréal Paris have made this very easy, thanks to TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray.
How to tousle: Start by misting hair generously with Tousle Waves Spray and then raking a wide-tooth comb down the lengths to ensure even coverage from roots to ends. Take a half-inch section of hair and twist it. While holding on to the ends of the twisted hair, blow-dry on a low-heat setting. Finger comb once dry to reveal a few loose, tousled waves. Repeat on the rest of your hair and you’re good to go.
The actual braiding part is also super easy, even if it looks really intricate!
If it seems a little intimidating, just think of it as three small braids and a small bun.
Step one: Leaving your bangs loose at the front, take a half-inch section of hair from just above each ear and braid them separately. Don’t braid too tightly as this hairstyle is all about delicate romance!
Step two: Bring them together at the back of your head and secure them both with the same hair elastic.

Step four: Take a slightly larger section of hair, about two inches, from just beneath the “rose” and loosely braid it straight down to create a kind of stem, and secure with another hair elastic.
